بررسی سوئیچ مجاورتی القائی Westlock مدل 316

سوئیچ مجاورتی سری 316، محصول شرکت امریکایی Westlock بوده و همانطور که از نام سری مشخص است دارای ساختاری از جنس استیل ضد زنگ می‌باشد. از دیگر مشخصه‌های بدنه این سوئیچ می‌توان به دارا بودن گواهی ATEX، داشتن خاصیت ضد انفجاری و حفاظت ورودی IP66/67 اشاره نمود. قسمت سوئیچینگ این پراکسیمیتی سنسور‌، در رزینی از جنس اپوکسی و پلیمر جاذب ضربه، محصور شده است، به همین دلیل در برابر ورود هوا، بخار آب و سایر گازها ایزوله می‌باشد (Hermetically Sealed). به‌دلیل داشتن موارد ذکر‌شده، سوئیچ مجاورتی وست لاک سری 316، مقاومت بالایی در برابر شوک، ضربه و تنش‌های ارتعاشی از خود نشان می‌دهد. از موارد استفاده این سوئیچ می‌توان به نصب بر روی استمِ کنترل ولوهای خطی، جهت کنترل باز و بسته بودن آن، اشاره نمود.

کنتاکت‌ها در این لیمیت سوئیچ به صورت باز در حالت عادی (N/O) هستند. لازم به‌ذکر است، کنتاکت‌های به‌کار رفته در سوئیچ مجاورتی Westlock را می‌توان با توجه به کارایی، از نوع SPDT و یا DPDT انتخاب کرد. همچنین میزان حساسیت این سنسور القائی، فواصل کمتر از 2.54 میلی‌متر (0.100 اینچ) می‌باشد. سوئیچ در قسمت اتصال دارای قطر 9.5 میلی‌متر (3/8 اینچ) بوده و 3 میلی‌ثانیه زمان عملکرد آن به‌طول می‌انجامد.
